Quebec is supposed to be the most european of all cities in North American. I've found three reasons: (1) The architecture of the historical downtown, (2) it's possible to buy real bread and (3) people greet each other with two kisses.
But in the other hand, pedestrians wait for green light to cross the road... although there isn't any car coming.

According to the guide who showed the Parliament to us, the Senate has received very important visits, such as the Queen of England or Celine Dion.

Quebec and the circus.

Every summer there is a circus show at the Agora, an outdoor stage in the port. And it's free. It's recommended to arrived one and a half hour before the doors open.
This year, the show was called "Crépuscule", an absolutly awesome performance of music, lights and jugglery.

A unos 12 kms de la ciudad. Se puede ir en autobús urbano (el 800). O alquilar una bici y recorrer la ruta del litoral.
Montmorency Waterfalls. 12 kms from Quebec city. There is an urban bus to go (number 800). Or rent a bike and follow the coastal corridor.
