There are some guided visits. And it's possible as well to see the city from the top of the tower.

Nothern lights. Every night during this summer a show of lights and sound has been proyected on the Parliament facade, explaining the history of Canada (in English and French). Amazing.

And the show ends with the Canadien flag on the facade and everybody standing while singing the national anthem.
In the morning, the esplanada in front of the Parliament is used to give a fitness class.
Or for a claiming act by inuit people.
Or to play a soccer game.
Terry Fox statue in front of the Parliament.

Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion Memorial. Canadiens who fought in Spanish Civil War (1936-39). Foreigners who joint the Republic side were part of the "International Brigades".
The old jail has been converted into a HI hostel.

It's possible to sleep in a former cell. It isn't the most confortable place to spend one night, but is well worthing.
